The Courts are implementing innovative solutions that increase access, enhance services, and improve timely and fair resolution of cases/legal matters (e.g., opened a self-help center, expanded language and navigator assistance, implemented innovative dispute resolution methods, enhanced treatment and supervision services, etc.). 5.Access. Access has been improved on all frontsin-person and virtually.6.Services and Programs. Services and programs have been evaluated and improved.New services and programs have been added, which are showing positive signs of success/better outcomes for victims, the individuals, and the community. (e.g., self-help and language services have been expanded, treatment and other services are available, the Courts are more understandable and user friendly) 7.Virtual Services. Virtual services are commonplace.Families, youth, and litigants have an option to receive virtual and/or in-person assistance.8.Virtual Court Proceedings.Virtual court proceedings have also been refined and standardized.A hybrid practice has evolved.Rule changes have been made to expedite case processing, which allow for virtual hearings where appropriate.Some hearings/matters are held in person while others are held virtually.There is consistency within and across courts. 9.WorkforceRecruitment and Retention.The Courts are able to recruit and retain a highly qualified workforce. Work is meaningful and seen as important.Turnover is lower and employee well-being and satisfaction are high. Pay and benefits are competitive, and the Courts are a desirable, sought-after/premier place to work. 10.Collaboration with Partners.
